On the 25th Anniversary of the Italian Cultural
Center in Vancouver, British Columbia, Michael
was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Five Hundred
people attended this special banquet.

Michael was presented the award for Italian-Canadian
of the Year in Vancouver, British Columbia, at
the 96th Annual Christopher Columbus Banquet.
November 1, 1999
The 'Arts and Entertainment Person of the Year'
Award was presented to Michael, by the Chamber
of Commerce of the City of Coquitlam in British
Columbia.
September 14, 1998
Michael received two Italian Awards, one from
the Province of Vibo Valencia, Italy and one from
the City of Vibo Valencia, Italy.
September 12, 1998
Michael was the youngest ever recipient, and one
of two Canadians of Italian descent, to receive
the Calabria's-America 1998 Award in Italy.

Michael received a school Certificate of Recognition
in the Service Category "for excellent work
as class representative."

YTV Youth Achievement Awards. Michael was a finalist
in both the Terry Fox Award and the Public Service
Award categories.

Michael received the Vancouver Leader of Tomorrow
Award. This award is presented by the University
of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University
to someone deemed to be a future leader. At age
12, Michael was the youngest recipient to date.

Michael was presented with a Certificate of Honourary
Membership in the National Congress of Italian
Canadians.

At an Enrich, Canada meeting, Michael gave a speech
telling how Enrich herbs had helped him to start
gaining weight (he had gone from 59 to 84 pounds)
and was regaining his energy after his bone marrow
transplant. Barry Borthistle, Canadian & United
Kingdom President of Enrich International Canada,
was in the audience. He was so impressed with
Michael's presentation, that he presented Michael
and his parents with three Caribbean cruise tickets,
for January, 1997.
March 2, 1996
Michael made his appearance on B.C.T.V. accepting
his Saturday Child award. He was shown at school,
at voice lessons and in the recording studio.
He sang one of his songs. The $1000.00 gift certificate,
he received from Dairy Queen, was donated to his
fund to raise money for childhood cancer.
February 1, 1996
Michael learned that he had been chosen as the
BCTV Saturday Child. This is an award given to
a child, under eighteen, who is deemed to be a
positive role model for other children. They want
to make a meaningful contribution to society.
Some of their qualities include enthusiasm, ingenuity,
kindness, commitment, sincerity, resourcefulness,
and a positive outlook. Michael certainly qualified
in all respects.
