Dale Lorraine Genuis (née Pollett)
Born January 21, 1963, in Scarborough, Ontario. Passed peacefully at home in Ajax on September 28, 2025, surrounded by family. Family was everything to her. She always dreamed of being a mother, and she lived that dream as the most incredible “Mom” and “Nana,” the heart of our family.

Dale embraced simple joys: Yahtzee and Cribbage nights, golf by the lake, warm summer sunsets, Sea-Doo rides in the Kawarthas, live music with a soft spot for Great Big Sea, and baking the world’s best apple crisp. She showed up for people. She found the words others needed. Through years of cancer, she met each day with a smile. She was the glue that held us together, a calm voice, and a fighter who did everything to spend more time with her family. She is our guiding presence who reminds us, when life feels heavy, "it’s no big Dale".

To honour her fight, Dales' children would love to raise money for a cause close to our hearts, cancer research. This year we chose The Michael Cuccione Foundation - a powerful foundation working tirelessly to find cures for various childhood cancers in Canada. Thank you for any contribution to our cause.
